Plant 6 takes raw stock through cutting, forming, welding, machining, surface prep, and finishing without leaving the building. Cutting starts with two 6 kW fiber lasers: one dedicated to mild steel, the other to aluminum and stainless. Highest-volume thicknesses are quarter, three-eighths, and half inch mild steel, with a wide range on the floor and additional materials readily sourced.

Downstream of the lasers, parts move to two press brakes for forming, a full staffed weld cell, and a dedicated CNC mill for laser cut parts. Complex machining runs through a Haas cell: DT1s, VF2s, VF3s, and a VF4 for 3-axis work, and two UMC 500s for true five-axis capability. Automation feeds the VF2s for volume runs, so a job can scale from hand-loaded prototype into production without changing vendors.

Cutting

  • Three 6 kW fiber lasers: dedicated lines for mild steel, aluminum, and stainless
  • Full 5×10 sheet capacity
  • Broad stock range on the floor; additional materials readily sourced
  • Highest movers: ¼”, ⅜”, and ½” mild steel

Forming & Welding

  • Two press brakes for forming laser cut blanks
  • Full staffed weld cell: MIG and TIG welding for structural and finish-grade weldments
  • Welding capability across mild steel, stainless, and aluminum
  • Dedicated CNC mill for laser cut parts: countersinks, counterbores, drill and tap

CNC Machining

  • 17 CNC mills: Haas DT1s, VF2s, VF3s, VF4 for 3-axis capacity
  • Two Haas UMC 500s: true five-axis and mill-turn for complex geometry
  • Robot-tended VF2 cells: lights-out capable for high-volume runs
  • Flexible fixturing on lower-capability machines for variety work

Turning

  • 25 CNC lathes: Swiss-style and large-bore platforms
  • Swiss lathes capable down to 0.750” bar for precision small-diameter work
  • Large-bore turning up to 3” bar diameter
  • Highest volume in aluminum; stainless and mild steel capability as well

Materials stocked

  • Mild steel: ¼”, ⅜”, ½” are highest movers
  • Multiple aluminum alloys
  • Stainless steel: 304 and 316
  • 2205 duplex stainless: high strength and corrosion resistance for demanding applications
  • Materials outside stock are readily sourced

How a job moves through

DFM review & quote

We review your print for manufacturability, flag any concerns, and return a fixed price with lead time. Typically 1–3 business days.

First article & approval

We machine initial pieces, run dimensional inspection to print, and send you the report for approval before we start the production run.

Production & delivery

Production runs on the approved program. Parts are inspected, packaged to your spec, and shipped to your dock or directly to your end customer.
